Tamagoyaki is a once of very unique dish from Japanese cuisine. Both restaurants and home cook will make it very often for sushi or bento box side dish. In my class, in the fundamental class, we’ll always cook and have a wonderful time working as a team.
This tamagoyaki recipe is very “Tokyo” style, less dashi, more sugar and soy sauce, salty and sweet!
- 4 Eggs
- 60 ml Dashi Stock
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- Olive Oil
Add dashi, soy sauce, and sugar into a bowl, blend well.
Add eggs to the bowl and mix well using chopsticks.
In a tamago frying pan, pour in egg mixture and when the egg is almost cooked through, roll it twice.
Move 3 to the starting point then again turn twice toward you.
Keep doing it until mixture is gone.
Slice it into cubes and use it as a topping with next recipe.
