We had such a wonderful cooking class with passionate learner students from SDSU. We have learned how to make Japanese broth, dashi, sliced sashimi, learn how to make nigiri, rolls, and dessert. We have also experienced grating fresh wasabi, learning about the difference between wasabi normally eaten outside of Japan versus fresh wasabi in japan. Learning about different kinds of Japanese knives. Taking a cooking class while traveling is the best way to learn the culture if you like to cook or eat!
