Japanese Cooking Courses — Fall 2020

We designed our classes to be meaningful to share cooking and culture. Learning how to cook is not just for yourself, you are making someone smile and healthy!


CLASS IN STUDIO

If you live in Tokyo and would like to learn more about Japanese cooking, this course is for you! You can choose how many classes you’d like to take and time from a table below. 

In this course, we will start a class called Market to Meal. We will visit a supermarket and cooking tool shops in a small group (only two guests in this Market to meal class). We are learning deeply and widely about Japanese ingredients throughout the course, but in this first class, your questions about Japanese ingredients would be all answered! We will learn many dishes, so after taking this course, students will be able to choose good quality ingredients in a market despite the understanding of the language, and also cook basic Japanese home cooking comfortably. More, they will be able to use local ingredients to make their own style of dish. Very intimate 1 to maximum 4 students only. You will learn so much and we will have a good time! We have 3 options for this studio class. Choice one is, twice a month class, second choice is once a month class, and the third choice is, one time only. ONLINE CLASS

We are excited to announce that you can now take our classes online from anywhere in the world! We design our online courses to be a meaningful opportunity to connect from our kitchen to yours by sharing our knowledge and culture. Class is from 1 to maximum 8 students only.  Ingredients availability varies by areas in the glove, but we will add many substitute ingredients by providing product links on a student recipe note.  Price is per device so you can join us with your partners, roommate, and kids. Choice one is, twice a month class, second choice is once a month class, and the third choice is, one time only. You can find a description from the table below.

INSTAGRAM PRIVATE COOKING LIVE CLASS

If you would like to learn Japanese cooking without cooking along, you can join my private cooking LIVE on Instagram. This is twice a month classes with two time schedules. It is not a watch only live, you can ask questions on live, then you can try cooking it yourself. The live lessons will be saved on IGTV, so you can watch again for practicing. 

ONLINE COOKING PARTY

Why not create a virtual party connecting with your family and friends. Or planning a team building online? We have many exciting Japanese menu ideas that are perfect for a party. We are all apart, but cooking can bring all of us connected and share meaningful time together. Please send us a message for your party theme. Please book at least 24 hours in advance of class start time to allow us, and yourself, to prepare and shop for ingredients.

After booking and confirmation, we will send the recipes and other information to prepare for the class.
