When I first opened my cooking school, mochi was only known by guests from

the States. So many guests from other countries, mochi was completely a weird stranger. But now, mochi started walking itself to the world, and it is now one of the most requested food to teach in my studio!

In this class, we’ll be learning Japanese dessert ingredients, such as glutinous rice flour, red beans paste, roasted soybean powder, mugwort herb, and much more.

By The End Of This Class, You Will:

•Learn what is mochi ingredients and how to make the mochi dough

•Learn kinds and forms of mochi desserts

•Learn different sauces and toppings along with fillings

•Forming daifuku

Class Menu:

•Seasonal fruit Daifuku

•Dango, grilled mochi balls on stick with soy-sauce caramel

•Mitsumame with house-made ice cream with Yoyogi mochi and agar jelly

•Matcha, iced or hot
